Almost outta here...

Phew! What a week!

I have 22 minutes on the work clock and then I'm free for a week! It's good, but kinda sad that we work so hard for one measley week of vacation(I get three a year...). I guess it is the price I pay for my salary and my cushy government job. :-)

We leave for NYC on Sunday morning. We are driving to a small town in NY state, about 7 hours from here, parking our car and taking the train into the city. I still have to pack and get the dog to the boarding kennel! Yikes! Remind me not to procrastinate so much next time... I have all day tomorrow to do laundry, get organzied and go see Rusty, of course!

We are bringing a laptop and have wireless in the hotel, so I'm sure I will be around online next week. I can't seem to stay away...

I grew up with stable full of horses and I miss them so much. I am going to zip up, and not start on about governments! Enjoy New York!

Have fun and do a lot of shopping! Street vendors have fantastic knock offs of things, and just bargain down with them and you can get them for cheap! Just watch the bootleg DVDs as they are not always the best quality. And if you can try and go to Carmines...it is an Italian restaurant and they have 2 locations in the city...the food is served family style and it is just yummy. I hope you have a great time and that the weather holds out for you!
