I haven't been online much in the past week - due to some furry new arrivals at our house. It has been a bit of a transition, but all the pets are doing ok. The dog is probably having the hardest time. I'll let the pictures explain...
Two little orange and white kittens! We had planned on only getting one - that plan crumbled in the face of the cuteness. Here they are playing with our old cat - who is about 5 times their size. He doesn't quite know what to think. The dog (all 70lbs of him!) is totally terrified of these little furballs. It's kinda funny...
This is Roxie (or maybe Rocky) - the vet wasn't able to tell 100% if it is a boy or a girl. The staff of the vet clinic actually have a pool going on what gender this one will be!
This is Charlie. Definitely a girl.
They are pretty busy - playing, then crashing. And then playing some more.
Roxie challenging Mr. P - the big cat is not sure what to think!
So, that is what I've been up to! It has been a bit of work to integrate them into the house. Mr. P gets a special food, so we have to keep the kittens in the spare room while he eats. I also don't want Mr. P gorging himself on kitten food, since he is already a bit "portly". lol
I'll probably be posting pictures of them once a week or so, as they grow, so be forewarned!!!

Kittens and puppies are cute for the same reason babies are cute: we'd never put up with the aggravation if they weren't. Poor old kitty looks a bit taken aback!
WV = hawle
The dog says to Mr. P, "Let's hawle ass outta here!"
Oh, the cuteness! Kittens are such a handful, probably better to have 2 so they can play together, lol. Great photos! I love the one of Roxie challenging Mr.P with your dog looking on, too funny. Your dog is gorgeous, by the way.
Awww!! Too sweet!! I can see why you couldn't choose between them. They're both adorable!
Sounds like you have a Chicken In A Dog Suit too huh? LOL Jo is still afraid of DAT. (Course, as much as DAT picks on Jo I can't blame her..lol)
You're family is growing! How wonderful.
Oh, my they are too adorable for words. Have fun with them.
Too cute. It's been a long time since we have had kittens. I miss them. So feel free to post all the pics you want-LOL.
I suspect you've got a "Rocky". But, that's just a front end guess. Face looks more masculine than Charlie's, and more like our boys' did when they were itty bitty.
No warning needed... I look forward to lots of cute kitten pics :)
@Leah - lmao to your wv & use of it... you always manage to crack me up
lol! That last photo is adorable! Cracks me up!
So, let me get this straight....Charlie is a GIRL?
And Roxie might be a BOY?
I've never heard of a vet doing a full examination and not being able to tell the sex of a kitten.
Is the kitten a hermaphrodite?
