The good news in all of this is that it is supposed to go up to a balmy high of 10C (50F) by Friday, so most of this junk should melt! Brrrr!! I haven't taken out my winter gear yet, so luckily this morning I was able to find my leather winter riding gloves - they saved my fingers this morning!

PS - Lisa - I haven't forgot about your tag - I'll do it tonight - if I can warm up! lol :-)

Oh what a purty pic! Sometimes I really miss the snow. Last year we got some so I was happy about that. The last few pics I have of Spooky were all in the snow.
There is something so peaceful about snow falling- why does it seem like the whole world goes silent?
bet you're loving that indoor now!
*ahem* Southeast GA,. USA-- No Snow... ;) 36* right now, but will warm up to the 60's today...
Lots of room!! Come join us! hehe
Denise - I could send you some snow...maybe in a regfrigerated box??? lol
Mrs Mom - GA sounds lovely. I do quite enjoy peaches and puh-caans! ;-)
Think of the fun vacation you could have on a roadtrip to visit all of our favourite bloggers! (can you tell I am desperate to get out of here and it isn't even November yet!)
YUCK! I saw that on the news and was thinking of you!
I will think warm thoughts for you!
Brrr! Does this mean that you'll now get a few weeks of Indian Summer, like we have here after the snow we had a few weeks ago?
Or is this the real deal...winter full-on?
Come here to warm up and bring Rusty, too. We'll go riding together. Today it's another warm, sunny autumn day in the 70's.
Winter's around the corner. I can feel it. But I'm not acknowledging it.
Is that like burying my head in the sand?
Maybe I need to be sure my riding gloves are at the ready, too. lol!

Yikes! Snow already? Where the heck are you at? Mind you we have been dropping close to freezing overnight the past few nights. Ponies get their blankets on now! I can't imagine us having snow for awhile yet though.
**knocking wood**
None of the S-stuff here, yet. Gorgeous day for a ride, high is to be 17C.
What are your winters like?
If I remember correctly your "S" tends to be fairly wet and heavy.
Laura, my mom kept "hail balls" in her freezer for over a year once:-) so don't temp me.
