I have decided to take a short break from blogging. Most days, I open a browser window, sign in to my blog and stare at a blank page, not knowing what to write.
I haven't been feeling well for the past couple of weeks which is probably the causing me to feel this way about my blog. I'm having a flare-up of an auto-immune disorder and it is very painful. I'm working with my doctors to treat it, but it is slow going. I'm fine, the pain is manageable, but it is very tiring. I just find that dealing with this takes all of my extra energy for now.
I'm sure I'll feel better in a few weeks, the snow will melt (a girl can dream!) and I'll be out doing stuff with Rusty. In the meantime, I will continue to browse everyone's blogs to keep up with all the news.
Just so you know - Rusty is fine and weathering the winter like a champ. He spends his days stuffed into a round bale, with a herd of 4 or 5 old mares. I'm hoping that by mid-late March we can be out doing some basic work to get both of us ready for spring!
Name That....

Enjoy your break and hope you feel better soon!
xxoo,
OS
Yes, I hope you feel better soon too.
Please feel better - and take as long a break as you need.
Take as much time as you need, we'll always be here. Feel better soon.
Blogging can be a funny mix of feelings of desire and obligation. I mean, no one forces us to blog yet somehow it seems like one more thing we "should" do. Top that with draining health issues and it's no wonder you're ready for a break! I definitely think breaks are good when you aren't feeling it.
Take care of yourself. If you ever need anything, please let me know. I'd be happy to check on Rusty if you ever need it.
Get better, take a break, and you'll be back at it in no time. This time of year is hard anyway, I think.
Hope you feel better... and there's always e-mail and facebook to keep in touch :)
I'm sorry to hear that you're not feeling well. That really sucks.
Take all the time you need, taking care of yourself is so much more important than blogging. Hope you're feeling better soon.
