There is a new rider at the barn leasing one of the barn owner's horses. It turns out that he is a professional photographer and he wanted to take some pictures of the horses at the barn, as he didn't have much experience taking pictures of horses. He mostly does weddings and professional modelling photos, so he wanted to try his hand at some action shots. His work is awesome - I can't link to all of the photos, so you'll have to trust me on that!
He gave me permission to share the photos he took of Dolly on this blog, so here you go! The photos are great, but the only problem is that they highlight that she got a bit thin on me this spring. I have changed her food around and she is gaining the weight back... We aren't sure if she maybe has ulcers, or if something else is going on - I have another post to write up on her when I get a chance...

Wow...Nice pictures!
She doesn't look bad. It's a whole lot easier to bring them into condition if they are a tish trim to start with than it is trying to ride a 100lbs of winter blubber off. LOL
My mom and I argue about that all the time...What she considers 'looking good' would put a halter horse to shame. I on the other hand like to at least be able to feel a rib when I press on their sides.
She's beautiful! A little thin but not bad, won't be hard to get her looking perfect.
Great photos! I'm jealous :-)
She's a tiny touch thin, but it looks to me that some fitness and muscling will go a long way to improving her overall condition. Now that spring is here (er, well, sorta) that'll be easier to do!
Wow! She is beautiful!!! Awesome pictures, I would love to get some pro pix done of mine!!
My mare usually comes out of winter a bit ribby even if I fatten her up beforehand, especially when we had a very cold and snowy winter like we did this past one.
She gains her weight back pretty quickly once the temps warm up and she gets ridden more and fills out.
Those photos are amazing. Dolly can fly!
