A Winter's Walk

I don't have much going on here in littlekeeblerland, so I thought I would post the photos from my 15 minute walk down the driveway on the weekend. It has been alternating rain and snow for the past couple of days, so I'm glad I was able to get out on the weekend.

Heading north down the driveway...not too far to go today

Trying to get a nice winter shot of Rusty...

I like this gnarly tree - can't remember what kind it is - the bark is a strange colour...

Cute little bunny tracks

I stopped a few times to try and get a good shadow picture

I really like macro shots - need to practice at them though. My little camera isn't the greatest for those shots.

On the way back to the barn, looking over at the arena. Rusty is hoping that we don't have to go back in there and do more work!

Very pretty pictures. Love the blue sky, white snow, pretty horse, and the saddle pad that matches that beautiful blue sky.

Taking pictures in the snow is the best, esp. when you have a blue sky and all that white to reflect the light! The pictures are so clear and crisp, no matter what kind of camera you have. Everything looks beautiful including your pony. Fun shadow picture, and I love the bunny tracks! :)

I am living a bit vicariously through you, Laura. No snow worth mentioning here this winter and now it's in the upper 50s. My camellia has bloomed outside, a woodpecker has returned from the south and unfortunately, nature is beginning to think spring. I hope this doesn't mean something nasty weather-wise is lying in wait!

These are really great! I'm loving the larger photos, too. That shadow shot is cool! And I like the driveway shot, too.
And look at how pampered Rusty is. Even his halter is fluffy and soft with thick fleece. hehe!
