Checking in

Hi everyone - I just thought that I would try and do a short post on my iPhone. So, please excuse any typos!

I'm sitting in the Ft. Lauderdale airport and my flight leaves in an hour. I think they are going to have to drag me kicking and screaming on to the plane!

We had a nice break though and in all seriousness, I'm looking forward to being back at home. All of my furry little friends have been carefully tended by my Mom and I'm looking forward to spending the day with her tomorrow before she heads home.

I bought Rusty a present on my trip - a nice Weaver leather breast collar - itmatches my bridle and I think he'll look pretty spiffy in it. I'll post some pics when I get out to the barn next. I'm sure the security people will find it interesting when they scan my luggage! It has lots of metal and rivets and will probably show up s a funny shape. Although, I'm sure they see all kinds of weird stuff packed in peoples suitcases!

I haven't had much of a chance to check in on eveyone's blogs, so I'll be getting caugt up this week. More later when I get home!

You'd have to carry me kicking and screaming onto a plane back to cold and snow right about now. But it's always good to be home too. Bet Rusty will like his new present.

Thanks for the check-in. I'm glad you've had a great trip and will be home in your bed tonight. Always good to be home, eh?

The image of the airport security eyeballing your bag and Rusty's new breast collar made me giggle. I wonder if they will also be looking for a dominatrix (sp?)outfit, too? (Not that you have one, of course. lol!)

Safe trip home!

LMAO...I was 'detained' in Ft. Worth with my carry on because they kept asking me what was large and metal in there and I didn't know what they were talking about.

It was my belt buckle...LMAO! You would think that in Ft. Worth they would know what a trophy buckle looks like on their scanner, right?

Welcome back! Glad you had a great trip! Hope they didn't give you any problems about the breast collar.

Posted from your iPhone. I'm impressed. I've sent one lousy email from my phone and it was a chore. That little keyboard sucks!

I giggled that you bought Rusty a gift on your trip. Those horses are always in our thoughts no matter where we go. I'm sure he's grateful his mom thought about him.
