I work for the government, but our campus is also a public park, so people in the neighbourhood walk by with their dogs all the time.
I have a window right by a sidewalk and see all kinds of interesting things.
So far this year:
- 2 people cross-country skiing down the road outside my window during a snowstorm
- groups of Asian tourists looking in our window and taking pictures (I work on the site of a famous Canadian tourist attraction that may involve horses)
- people's dogs pooping right outside the window. One guy wasn't going to pick up after his dog until he saw me waving.
Today's sighting takes the cake - a lady trying to walk her cat on a leash! He was a very fancy little orange cat - but he didn't seem to like the whole leash thing. She stopped outside my window for 5 minutes talking to him the whole time. Very cute. I was about to grab my camera and get her picture, but she saw me and left! LOL

Grrrr... people who don't pick up after their dogs tick me off! We live on a corner lot that also happens to have a fire hydrant. I've actually stepped outside to tell people to clean it up. After all MY dogs don't use my yard as a toilet (they're trained to go to their dog run to do their "business") so why should theirs!
Oh, apparently Quinn was naughty at the trainer's. :x I was informed by her sister that there was an "incident" but that no one was hurt. Waiting to hear back from the actual trainer.
LOL, my friend in CA walks her cat and just the sound of that cracks me up! I always ask her how the catwalk is going and it's usually something like "He walked 3 houses down, but only 2 house back" meaning she had to carry him the rest of the way.
Her cat is in transition of becoming an only indoor kitty cuz he's older and can't fight as well as he used to!
Can finally see what everyone has been up to since I finally have my post finished.
Well your mood sounds much improved! Go for another bike ride. Aren't I just the bossy thing - just ask anyone in my barn.
I love people watching too.
CAT WALKING?? That cracks me up!!
